I will present here the Asparagus from the Domaine du Vieux Castille by Patrick CHABRIER.
Passionate about the Gardois terroir, Mr CHABRIER is well known as a winegrower and knows how to get the best from his native land.
However, it was as a producer of Asparagus de Bourdic (Gard 30) that I met him when I was working as a chef in Collias.
Exceptional product, I like to highlight the delicacy of asparagus, varying the tone over the years. We always rediscover this product from different angles!
Maison CHABRIER is a beautiful family story, with several generations of artisan producers who follow one another with the same philosophy.
A tireless worker, Patrick CHABRIER swears only by quality and taste… so you will understand that we quickly formed a solid friendship that has now lasted for several years!

The house does not sell asparagus directly to individuals, you will find its delights in restaurants and our local greengrocers.
